Easy Does It Yoga
A great place to begin. Introducing stretching and strengthening of the body slowly and with gentle consideration. Especially good for individuals that are entering into a beginning fitness program after a period of inactivity. This class is one hour. A Gentle Beginner Class.

Afternoon Yoga
End the day in a peaceful and nurturing environment. Experience yoga postures that strengthen and flex, then quietly relax and renew your self in a beautiful space. Lots of modifications of the yoga poses are offered so this is a great place for the new student. For those with experience this is a wonderful place to review and relax. Beginner and All Levels.

Posture Fundamentals
Learn the yoga postures comfortably and deeply. In each class we explore 3-4 postures that develop strength, balance and flexibility. The postures are practiced in a more static style allowing plenty of time to explore each person’s individual comfort zone within each posture. Different breathing techniques are also taught to encourage greater awareness of the quality of our breath on a daily basis. Beginner and All Levels.

Body & Breath
For students new to the linking of body, breath and mind this class teaches the basic yoga postures with consciousness of how we breath into the different postures and why its so important to remain focused on the breath. For the more experienced student this is an opportunity to reinvigorate their practice with an in depth review of the function of breath in the yoga postures. This class has elements of flow (vinyasa) but the emphasis is the free flow of breath in association with movement. Beginner and All Levels.

Flow Yoga Beginner
An introductory class designed for the beginning student. In this class you will learn to move from one pose to the next in synchrony with the breath. The poses will be taught statically and then incorporated into a flow (vinyasa) sequence. Flexibility, strength and balance that the yoga postures bring to body and mind are integrated into this slightly more energetic class in a friendly and welcoming environment. A great beginning for individuals looking to introduce a mild to moderate cardiovascular element to their wellness plan. Beginner and All Levels.

Flow Yoga I/II
Open to all individuals with some knowledge of the yoga postures and breath work. A more challenging class, lots of energy concentrating on linking body and breath in motion. Each pose is linked to an in or out breath with some postures being held during the sequencing for a moderate amount of time. This allows for a deeper engagement of body to breath within the flow (vinyasa) practice. The sequencing progresses towards a challenging pose but we offer some modifications to allow for individual ability. 6-8 Beginner classes are recommended. Experienced Beginners and Intermediate Level.

Sunday Yoga
Sunday Yoga is all about  closing out the old week and preparing for the next.  We will take time learning the postures and incorporating them into short sequences.  Breathing and motion pulled together to invigorate and calm.  Open to beginners and intermediate levels.

 

We have mats and other props so you don't need to bring your own. We try to keep the mats clean, but encourage students to have their own.

I. Be prepared to practice barefoot. Wear close stretchy clothing but above all be comfortable.

II. For your personal comfort it is better to not eat a heavy meal prior to class.

III. If you have any serious heart ailments or illnesses or injuries please let the instructor know before the class begins.

IV. Please be on time! Come a few minutes early to sign in and unwind. Be considerate. Classes will begin as scheduled.
